Changing It Up
Changing it up, it is what needs to happen. Doing the same thing over and over and over, is not only boring it produces so little. When you have people lined up to get to your place of business it is perfectly fine to do it; over and over. If that is not the case take a good look at what your practices are and first look at how much time is consumed and what is the result you are getting. People spend too much time becoming proficient at tasks that probably; should be done, away with.
Throwing out the SOPs is first order of business, what has happened to innovation, imagination, fortitude and a good dose of gumption. Business might not be so good simply because we are not so good. Wake up, open your eyes and look to see what is possible… when you actually look to what is missing, and the presence of that which is missing, would move your business in a whole, new direction with you in the drivers seat this, is a game worth playing I would say. Unlocking, your mind, as well as the door in the morning, is where you want to start.
Today, more than ever, when the dime is a little thinner, we all have to be a whole lot smarter or we lose. People need our services, do they , do they really? Human beings are moving about ,most times quite aimlessly looking for someone to take care of them and their needs. That is where business gets its beginning. Servicing the needs of people, and how you design your business; needs, must be in alignment. In what you offer and has to be so good, that you cannot get it anywhere else is what you want to shoot for, or you can be the person that takes great pride in your business and time with your clients. Shifting our thinking is an intricate part of being able to see beyond our current horizon, to something that inspires action. Doing it skillfully, with ease and with passion is what deepens the desire to use your services. Your knowledge can either help you or hurt you depending, on how it is positioned.

Time Flies not
Taking time, to Take time.
What is the rush we think is happening and where does it come from and where does it go? There is a penchant to rush, and should we see someone, who is not rushing it is often, met with distain. Taking time to take time, can be so rewarding and life changing and is something you cannot pay for. You really have no more or no less than the opportunity. Life is full and most times fast and it is only when one takes time is it possible to take time.
Life is something so fleeting and when we take time, the world seems to alter. JImi White a very special man and my very dear friend, I met along the path told me something in which I hold dear. Japanese saying; “when you stand still, the world backs up”.
In business and all facets of life for that matter if we were to take time, to say thank you. Take time to make the call. To say hello, Take time to be the special person you are, it could have the world be; a little lighter and a whole lot brighter.
Take time to do the best job possible. Take time to reread. Take time to breathe deep. Take time to smile. Take time to say I love you and mean it. To feel the sun and feel the breeze. Looking for the sunset and waiting for the moon. Take time to root for someone. Tell them you care.
Imagine a world where people care people caring about themselves, caring about others. Do you think, that might have a positive impact in our business and in our lives, I do.

So What's With Excitement?
Excitement
Be excited about what you do. No kidding, if it is knowledge, you have a gift in, share it with others. Bring something quite special into view. Let people into your life, enjoy life and enjoy sharing it with others. There is something they have that they will be able to share with you. If it is Art, display it, show it, sing it, and write it. But share it. . What is missing… could be you.
Take a moment, to tell 2 people a week what you do, certainly you can do more but start with 2 Something you like about what you do, an experience, outcome, moment of appreciation. Lets breathe life into the conversation not deaden it. Along the lines of just being there, see how the other person or people are reacting to what you are saying. Remember to breathe life into. Give something away; a smile, a wink, compliment, word of appreciation and just see what happens.
Today more than ever, it should be a very good idea for people to share more with one another. People who experience something in a positive way have a tendency to repeat that experience over again. And it could be over and over, for years if not lifetimes.
When you think about what excites you, there is a chance, be a slight one that you will have to think more than you might think. Because the excitement, might have been buried, by the things we tell ourselves, and so there is a chance we have left out the excitement when it comes to our work, or to our lives.
If you are having a difficult time locating excitement, look for enjoyment, or pleasing idea or concept. This is to be fun so if it is occurring to be “hard” what is the story you have around excitement.
When you begin to allow yourself to kind of, dabble with these practices, you might experience a couple of different sensations at first there might feeling of an awkward moment. it is just a second, before you get your balance, know that your balance is there. Kind of, like riding a bike for the first time, remember that first sensation of balance, once you feel balance you know it. Creating a conversation, that; is going to empower you and the people around you is where you want to put your focus. This is more about allowing than it is about effort. When we let go of those things that do not serve us and let them really go, there will be space to experience something quite new and most times rather enjoyable. Remember to breathe. Remember to lighten up. This is an opportunity most times for lessening effort. Effort is something that shows up when resistance is present. Trying to make sense of something usually is, grounded in, referencing the past. Trust yourself and the moment to be the right time and the right place.
Remember the times, in your life, where excitement showed up, you know that kind of giddy anticipation of something great is going to happen bring that to your business/life and watch what happens. Get excited and your world will follow suit We feel If you are going to put the time in anyway, you might like to have more fun and money along the way.

Taking It to the Next Level
Willing to raise the bar 5%,
I knew that this is going to be something I could do and I started to look to see just what that might look like. I actually became a bit excited because I am thinking 5% no sweat I can do that.
When one is able to see the value in; the extra thought, task, or concept that will be raising the bar, one’s energy is on the rise. It puts oomph, where there was none. Juices begin to flow ideas begin to roll when you can actually see value in what you are up to. Having fun helps this process to be undergone in an Up- beat manner that will definitely catch others off guard.
What is going on, what is happening with her or him… with you. When one, begins to acknowledge; just who they are, and all they have to offer. It might be a bit like tooting your own horn but you will not have to, for others will sing your praise. Doing more than what you, are expected to do is a great way in which to start.
This is good news… not bad news. Really it is, you shine when you are in the zone. When your commitment is bigger than, the drab ever, familiar tales we tell ourselves, we are actually able to move mountains
When one thing leads to the next thing, to the next thing we are in “the zone”. When, we find that we are more excited about what we offer, and the job we do, there is a very noticeable verve in the air and it starts in our speaking, then spells into our being, our actions, our new ideas and concepts and enhances all areas of our lives
Putting more into what you do, is something that changes up the game. Puts you in the driver seat so where you, are headed is your call, you now have the say so, no longer at the effect of, you will find yourself out in front and leading the way… and we are talking 5 percent.

Conversations Drive the Bus
Conversations:
What are the conversations you have, either spoken or in thought about your business? The conversations you have with others and with ourselves, directly influence not only our business… but also pretty much spills over to all areas of our lives. We really do a number on ourselves and then we tell ourselves it is true.
Are you having conversations that lift and breathe life in to your business or conversations that suck the air right out of the space? This is not just limited to business but again spills over to other areas if you just look.
We have an opportunity to step back (you got to know I have never been big on the word opportunity because I always held it as OMG so much work for “this opportunity”) it is not until later did I find out that opportunity can actually mean less effort. So go with me on this one and we can take: a look, then you can decide.
Also, know, this plays out in all those conversations we have in our head. You know the conversations that; then you fill in the blank and just what that blank is for you, is what is real to you. It is not until we realize, wake up, have that uha ha moment call it what it is, for you, we will most probably continue to be pretty much on the same path.
We can begin, to sift through and quickly discard the shaft, the shaft we have all hashed and rehashed and which is for all practical purposes, useless to this moment in time. For those who say not so fast and wish to lug your stories and all the rightness you are welcome to lug but do not expect others tow it for you. In addition, know you can do it, just as long as you want.
We: the you-s and the me-s have so much to offer and to be thankful for, and yet we are just “getting by” with any luck. Got to tell you, I just have this notion you may call me crazy, I know it might be too big of a notion but we really do feel we all could be doing so much better. If we just stop, see what is there, then create the game that it is going to bring more fun and more money into 2012 and we do not have to stop there.

It is about as fun as you are.
I had to laugh when I found myself making an evaluation has to the time frame this business will be going out of business. Then I again laughed thinking what would I tell this guy he needed to do, to turn his boat around? What in the hell would I say. Given one shot what would it be? I thought, and then came up with well a couple of things. If you well indulge, First off "Why in the world would anybody want to come in and spend, what is probably on a little thin dime, with you. WHY? He would probably look at me and say What? I would look at him and say why? Which he in turn would respond with a what? There you have it. The why versus the what and the why is where I think you want to look first. Why? There needs to be something that connects; people have many, many choices. That is not saying that any of them are good choices they are just choices. So something needs to connect. This guy has done everything he knew to do. He did it, as he knew to do it. It is only a matter of time.
